It includes the express guarantees of Article 11 ESC(r), the right to life, and the prohibition of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment of Articles 2 and 3, ECHR. Among the consequences of the obligation to remove the causes of ill health as much as possible is the right to access to health care, among others.
